Free Webinar: MRI & Ultrasound – Which Modality Should I Refer For?

In this free interactive webinar, we will be teaming up with our sister brand, Oryon Imaging, to discuss MRI and ultrasound modalities to ensure you get as much as possible from the referral.

Dr Qaiser Malik, Consultant Radiologist, will be helping us to understand the modalities in greater detail. Refresh your memory on clinical and technical concepts to MRI and ultrasound as we compare the differences. We will be looking at the criteria to ensure you’re confident in choosing the right modality for your patient’s problem, and how best to write a referral.

Using case studies and real scan images, we will be examining how to read scans and spot the pathologies which are identified in radiologists’ reports. Dr Malik will talk us through his own diagnostic workup to give us an insight into the mind of a radiologist. We will also be discussing the terminology that is often used in reporting which needs to be understood and interpreted correctly when reading your patients’ reports.

We will also be giving you a virtual tour of Oryon Imaging, where we do MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray and DEXA scans. Throughout lockdown, our clinic in the Harley Street area has been operating a safe service with robust, well-practised safety measures in place, including mandatory PPE for all patients and staff. We're making sure to keep the option for affordable, efficient and safe diagnostic imaging open for patients and referrers.

We will send you an email with instructions to register and gain access to the webinar 'room' on the day of the event.
