Webinar: Paediatric and Adult Spinal Deformities

The coronavirus pandemic in 2020 severely affected the ability of the NHS and private healthcare services to provide routine medical care and unfortunately this has drifted to impact urgent care as well. Notwithstanding that, patients are likely to continue to suffer with serious medical problems related to their spine at the same rate as they were before. Now more than ever, it is essential that we identify these patients for investigation and treatment to ensure that delays do not affect their outcomes.

Mr Hanny Anwar, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialism in spinal and neurosurgical spinal surgery, takes attendees through the spinal deformities that cannot wait for this crisis to blow over and will be harmful to patients if left unaddressed. This includes an examination of adult deformities and of paediatric deformities, highlighting the differences in treatment pathways and urgencies.

This event is available to purchase on-demand and was first delivered on Tuesday 12 May 2020. Once you've purchased the course, you can watch it immediately from your Oryon Develop dashboard by logging into your account.
