Rishi Chana

Mr Rishi Chana is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in lower limb surgery.

His specialist areas include: hip and knee replacement including minimally invasive hip replacement, hip and knee revision joint replacement including reconstruction for peri-prosthetic fractures around the hip and knee, patello-femoral and uni-compartmental knee replacement surgery, knee arthroscopy, hip arthroscopy (key-hole surgery of the hip), foot and ankle surgery particularly forefoot and bunion surgery. He has a particular interest in enhanced recovery surgery and rehabilitation.

Rishi qualified from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine and completed his postgraduate orthopaedic training in South East England. Rishi undertook specialist training for one year in hip and knee surgery, including hip and knee arthroscopy at the world-renowned Specialist Orthopaedic Group and North Sydney Orthopaedic Sports & Medicine Centre. He then specialized in complex revision reconstruction hip and knee surgery for a further year at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and completed his final fellowship in Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals. He has an active interest in research and has published high impact articles on joint replacement outcomes and activity levels after surgery.
