Why do I
need a
referral?

Because UK regulations require diagnostic scans to be requested by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. Your practitioner makes sure that:

Important:*** The fast-track referral service is for routine diagnostic and screening only. It should not be used in medical emergencies or situations requiring urgent care. If you think that your condition is an emergency please attend your nearest A&E department or call 999.

How the Fast Track Referral Service works

Tell us about your symptoms

Complete a short online form with your symptoms, medical history and contact details.

Your request is reviewed

A private GP reviews your information, usually within one working day.

Your referral is provided

If imaging is appropriate, they’ll issue a referral for the scan you need.

Attend the 10–15 min scan

Receive your specialist report afterwards.

Ready to get started?

Fast Track Referrals start from £25. A referral is not guaranteed and any scan is booked and charged separately. If the clinician decides that imaging is not appropriate and no suitable alternative is offered, the £25 referral fee will be refunded.

X-ray

A quick imaging test that uses low-dose radiation to detect fractures, arthritis, chest conditions and other abnormalities affecting bones and certain organs.
DEXA

Whole Body MRI

A comprehensive screening scan that examines multiple areas of the body in a single appointment to help identify potential health concerns before symptoms develop.

Prostate MRI

A specialised MRI scan that provides detailed images of the prostate, helping to investigate raised PSA levels, assess abnormalities and support prostate cancer diagnosis.

A low-dose X-ray scan that accurately measures bone density to assess the risk of osteoporosis and fractures.
