For Patients
Do I need a referral?
For most scans, yes. A referral from a qualified healthcare professional helps make sure you have the right scan and the right follow-up care.

If you’re unsure what scan you need, or you’re seeking reassurance, we can arrange a quick online consultation with one of our trusted healthcare partners.
They’ll review your history and, if appropriate, provide a referral, usually within one working day. They will also be on hand for a follow-up appointment to interpret the radiologist report and suggest next steps.
You can self-refer for a DEXA scan, which measures bone density. All other scans require a referral.
For practitioners
Registering is quick and easy. We’ll ask for your GMC details and areas of specialism so we can support you with accurate, high-quality imaging from day one.
Our radiographers may contact you if they need clarification, helping ensure the right images are captured first time.
