We currently have three central London private MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T) for specialist diagnostics and screening. We also provide private X-Rays, DEXA scans and Ultrasound scans.
With exception of DEXA, all scans need a referral from a qualified healthcare practitioner.

FAQs about pricing
MRI scans start from £275. The price of any scan depends on how many regions of the body are being scanned and the complexity of the scan. This will be determined by your referring clinician. Your scan will take place at one of Oryon’s central London imaging centres. As soon as your appointment is complete your images will be uploaded to our secure portal where they will be accessible by your referring clinician. Also included in the your scan will be a consultant radiologist’s report. We aim to have all reports available to you and your referring clinician within one working day of your appointment. You can access your report in the patient portal. If you have used Oryon’s private Fast Track Referral Service then you will also have an after appointment follow up call with your referrer to talk through your report, advise you of the findings and provide some guidance on next steps.
A private referral can be arranged for as little as £25. If you would like us to arrange this for you, please use the Fast Track Referral service. We’ll arrange a short online consultation with one of our trusted healthcare partners. They’ll review your history and symptoms and, if appropriate, provide a referral, usually within one working day. They’ll also be available after your scan to help explain the radiologist’s report and discuss next steps.
You can pay for your scan on a credit card or bank transfer. All scans must be paid for before the appointment. Oryon Imaging is recognised by all major insurers.
