Dr Tee Wei Siah is a GMC registered, UK trained Consultant Dermatologist who specialises in the diseases of hair and scalp. Dr Siah also offers consultations on all dermatological conditions including acne, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, mole checks, skin cancers, pigmentation and wrinkles (botox and fillers).
She completed her clinical fellowship in Hair and Scalp Disorders at the Dermatology Department of University of British Columbia and was trained by the world famous hair dermatologist, Professor Jerry Shapiro, who is currently based in New York. Dr Siah received training in both medical and surgical treatment of hair loss disorders during this fellowship. As a clinical fellow, she was mentored by Dr Kevin McElwee, Assistant Professor specialises in hair research, and conducted a research project looking at the effect of platelet rich plasma in Androgenetic alopecia. The result of this study was presented at the World Congress of Dermatology in 2015 and American Hair Research Submit 2018. Dr Siah was awarded North American Hair Research Society (NAHRS) mentorship in 2014 and was mentored by Dr Leonard Sperling, professor of Dermatology and Pathology, based at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD.
She has presented at national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. With her unique training background, Dr Siah aims to combine her medical and surgical expertise to manage hair loss problems.
Dr Siah is a member of British Association of Dermatologists and American Hair Research Society.
