Dr George Bownes is a Consultant in Musculoskeletal, Sport and Exercise Medicine with over 15 years’ experience across the UK’s high-performance sport network. He has worked in Premiership football and rugby, including roles with Harlequins, Chelsea FC and Southampton FC, as well as supporting Olympic and elite athletes.
His expertise spans sports injury management, rehabilitation, spinal conditions, tendinopathies and bone stress injuries, alongside diagnostic ultrasound and shockwave therapy. He has also worked in military rehabilitation settings.
