Mr Amit Amin is a Specialist Foot and Ankle Surgeon based in London and Wimbledon.

Mr Arun Ranganathan is an Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon with special interests in Spine Surgery.

Mr Arjuna Imbuldeniya (known as Arj to friends and colleagues) is a fully qualified and trained surgeon who specialises exclusively in treating patients suffering from complex hip and knee problems using cutting edge technology and up to date, proven and precise techniques.

Mr Paul Jairaj is a specialist in hip and knee surgery who qualified in Medicine from the University of Birmingham.

Ziali Sivardeen

Consultant Trauma And Orthopedic Surgeon | London

Ziali Sivardeen is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon who has treated many high level athletes and sports professionals, with Shoulder, or Knee problems.

During the London 2012 Olympics, Mr Sivardeen had the honour of being the Surgeon who operated on all Olympians and ParaOlympians that required Shoulder or Elbow Surgery during the Games. Due to his role, Mr Sivardeen was invited to a special reception at the Queens Gallery in Buckingham Palace.

He has seen and helped manage many athletes with Knee Problems, including those linked to Premiership Football Clubs, and has treated many sports people with ACL injuries, cartilage and meniscal tears.

He has been a member of the Specialist Training Committtee for Sports and Exercise Medicine Trainees in London from 2009 to 2015, so played an important part helping to develop this new speciality.

His research interests include orthopaedic shoulder and knee problems, including sports injuries in elite rugby players.

Amit Amin

Consultant Orthopaedic Foot And Ankle Surgeon | London

Amit has sub-specialised in all aspects of Foot and Ankle Surgery, undertaking fellowships both at home and abroad. He worked as a senior trainee on the specialist Foot and Ankle unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. Thereafter, Amit decided to travel to Internationally renowned centres to broaden his horizons and along the way gained invaluable clinical experience and developed life-long friendships.

The first International stop was undertaken in Seattle, USA at Harborview Medical Center with Professor Sigvard Hansen. This was followed by a British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society travelling fellowship to Baltimore, USA working with the world-renowned Dr Mark Myerson.

Amit completed his specialist Foot and Ankle Surgery training by spending a full year in Toronto, Canada with Dr Tim Daniels. During this time he was exposed to over 100 total ankle replacements, and is one of a select few surgeons specifically trained in this type of surgery. Amit has a specialist interest in Sports Surgery around the foot/ankle.

Amit was appointed in 2011 to St George’s Hospital – a Teaching Hospital and Major Trauma Centre.

To balance work and life, and to spend more time with his young family, Amit decided to leave the NHS in 2017. Amit now splits his time between The Shard (London Bridge Hospital) and Parkside Hospital.

Amit has always been involved and interested in research, and has published over 20 peer-reviewed articles in the medical literature. He currently reviews articles for the British Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.

Arun Ranganathan

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon |

Mr Ranganathan is an Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon with special interests in Spine Surgery.

He completed his Orthopaedic training from Newcastle/Yorkshire deanery and underwent spinal training in North East England and Nottingham.

Mr Ranganathan is dually fellowship trained and certified in Orthopaedic spine and Neurospine surgery. He completed the prestigious AO Spine North America Advanced Spine fellowship in one of the most prestigious centres in the world ' Krembil Neursocience Centre and Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto under the world renowned Neurosurgeon Dr Michael Fehlings and spinal deformity surgeon Dr Stephen Lewis.

He has been awarded a doctorate degree for research in the field of spinal surgery conducted in Sir Peter Mansfield (Nobel Prize winner) MR centre from the Nottingham University. He has the rare distinction of being the youngest recipient of the ISSLS( formerly Volvo) Award twice, in 2004 and 2009 for best international spinal research work in the intervertebral disc physiology.

He is also the recipient of the Britspine International 2004 and the Spine Society of Australia award in 2009 for best international spinal research work on the human intervertebral disc. He is an invited guest speaker in several international meetings and an expert reviewer in several international journals including Spine.

Arjuna Imbuldeniya

Arjuna Imbuldeniya (known as Arj to friends and colleagues) is a fully qualified and trained surgeon who specialises exclusively in treating patients suffering from complex hip and knee problems using cutting edge technology and up to date, proven and precise techniques.

Mr Imbuldeniya proudly works as an NHS Consultant Surgeon in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, West Middlesex University hospital, London, where his mother worked as a midwife and where he was also born.

Mr Imbuldeniya is trained in and believes in the use of technology assisted surgery such as computer and robotic guided joint replacement surgery, and has completed a Masters level degree in Health Policy from Imperial College, London, publishing on innovation in healthcare such as new virtual fracture clinics.

He has expertise in keyhole surgery of the knee including ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction, surgery to help with catching and locking in the knee, computer and robotic assisted partial knee replacement, computer and robotic assisted total knee replacement, hip replacement particularly in the younger adult and complex revision/redo hip replacement.

Hailing from West London he is a lifelong supporter of Brentford FC, and cherishes all his spare time enjoying life with his young children.

Paul Jairaj

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon | London

Mr Jairaj qualified in Medicine from the University of Birmingham. He completed his basic Surgical training at St Mary's Hospital, St Bartholomew's Hospital, The Royal Postgraduate Medical School at The Hammersmith Hospital, The Mayday Hospital and Hillingdon Hospital. In 1997, Mr Jairaj started specialist training in Trauma & Orthopaedics as a Specialist Registrar on the Imperial College Scheme in North West Thames region. This included periods at Hillingdon Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, Northwick Park Hospital, The Royal Berkshire Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, St Mary's Hospital and Kingston Hospital.

Mr Jairaj was awarded his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in July 2003, and was then entered onto the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council. Subsequent to this, Paul spent a period as a Locum Consultant at Charing Cross and Ravenscourt Park Hospitals. He was then appointed as a Substantive Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Trust.

He is a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics Specialising in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, with special interests in :- knee arthroscopy, hip arthroscopy, sports injury surgery, mini-invasive hip and knee replacements, computer guided hip and knee surgery, joint replacement surgery.
