It’s that time of year again. The ski season is already afoot, and patients will be presenting with injuries that are often a nasty piste of work!

Ski and snow sports are one of the major causes of knee injuries in the winter months. Join us and Mr Bobby Anand, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, to examine the most common knee injuries in snow sports and how to prevent them.

This action-packed webinar will slope from the peak of ski injuries, predominantly of the ACL and MCL, to those less commonly seen but still prevalent, such as meniscal and PCL injuries.

Alp your patients by knowing the aetiologies and symptoms to look out for, and the right investigations to carry out, such as MRI and physical examination of the knee. We will be slaloming through the management of conditions outlined above, discussing when surgery is necessary and traversing conservative rehabilitation, including bracing. Mr Anand will be giving us the latest updates in techniques and clinical evidence available.

We will also be jumping into the prevention of such injuries through strengthening, flexibility and balance exercises; correct form and technique; and the importance of warming up and cooling down.

There’s snow way you’ll want to miss this interactive talk with one of our top speakers. Book on for 2 hours’ CPD and get ready for your winter patients - we’ll be skiing you there!
