Ultrasound-guided injections are frequently used in medicine for various reasons, from diagnosis to treatment, as well as imaging.

As ultrasound-guided injections has increased over the years due to patient benefits and reduced risks, we thought it would be a great topic to delve into.

We are pleased to be joined by Physiotherapist, Mr Chris Myers to share his professional expertise. Mr Myers will be discussing the role of diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections in musculoskeletal (MSK) pain and how he has integrated this into private practice at Complete Physio to provide a ‘one-stop’ clinic for patients.

He will share his knowledge and experience of the role of diagnostic ultrasound and the potential advantages and disadvantages to patients. Mr Myers will also discuss his thoughts and opinions about the role of injection therapy, including the use of steroids, hyaluronic acid and platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
