2020 not only marked the turn of the new decade; it also marked an important moment in Oryon’s history, as we are delighted to celebrate ten years of organising quality CPD events to help everyone learn something new in healthcare.
On the 15 September 2010 we held our first event at the British School of Osteopathy. Fast forward 10 years and we’ve put on over 550 courses with over 6,600 attendees. We’ve welcomed healthcare professionals from all types of disciplines and hosted events with over 250 renowned speakers.
2020 was the first year we started hosting free public events on healthcare topics such as dealing with stress and sports injuries. These events have proven exceptionally successful, for providing informative sessions to those without a healthcare background.
2020 also saw the outbreak of Covid-19, with Oryon Develop tackling the unprecedented challenge to the events industry head on by moving all events seamlessly to live webinars. These events have proven exceptionally successful, and event recordings are sent to anyone who booked on, so if you can’t make an event you can still watch it in your own time.
Not only is it our 10 year birthday, but this week we are delighted to announce the launch of our flagship event, the Annual Spinal Symposium, which will be happening online across two consecutive Saturday mornings – Saturday 6th and Saturday 13th February, 2021.
This will be our 10th Spinal Symposium and to celebrate we have some special plans for the event, with interactive content and a real-time spine examination to name just a few. We will be welcoming 8 renowned consultants who will be delivering exceptional talks on an array of spinal topics.
To fit with the running theme of 10, attendees at the Symposium will get a huge 10 hours of CPD, spread across two half days of learning and interacting. Up until 30th November, it is just £99+VAT to book onto both dates, meaning that each hour of CPD is just £10+VAT!
