Dr G. Michael Hess (FA Tr&Orth (Ger), MD, PhD) is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and pain therapy specialist with international expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery and interventional pain therapy. After graduating from the University of Düsseldorf in 1995, he trained in Switzerland, Munich and Canada, including a fellowship in spine surgery and interventional radiology at University Hospital Quebec City. He led the Back Pain Center at Orthopaedische Klinik München-Harlaching before joining OCM Munich as consultant spine surgeon. In 2016 he founded InsightSpine in London and Kent. An internationally recognised lecturer and guest surgeon, he delivered more than 150 scientific presentations worldwide.
