Oryon Academy: CPD Webinar Series 2025–2026

Practical MSK insights from leading Orthopaedic and Radiology experts

Free webinars, contributes to your continuing professional development (CPD)

Introducing a 6 part webinar series:
Head, Shoulders, Knees & Bones

We’re launching a brand new CPD webinar series that contributes to your continuing professional development (CPD), running monthly from October 2025. Each session will explore a different region of the body – from the cervical spine to the lower limbs – offering practical, case-based insight into musculoskeletal injury, treatment pathways, and referral decision-making.

Every webinar includes a live Q&A and a dedicated Radiology Perspective segment – a 15-minute expert-led discussion on the role of imaging in diagnosis, management, and multidisciplinary care.

All sessions are free to attend and contribute towards your CPD hours.

Upcoming Session: 21st January at 6:30pm

Spine Matters – Practical Insights for Everyday Practice

Using real clinical cases, this session explores common spinal problems, focusing on accurate diagnosis, prognosis and evidence-based management. Spine Matters offers a clear, practical update for clinicians regularly assessing and advising patients with spinal pain, with emphasis on sound decision-making and avoiding unnecessary intervention.

Mr Caspar Aylott is an internationally trained Consultant Spine Surgeon and Lead Spine Consultant at the UK Spine Centre. Uniquely dual-qualified as a mechanical and materials engineer, he holds a Doctorate in motion-preserving spinal technologies. He specialises in minimally invasive and non-fusion techniques, considers surgery a last resort, and is passionate about clear diagnosis, patient communication and high-quality clinical education.
