Bobby Anand

Mr Anand is a leading specialist knee surgeon in Surrey and London. He trained at University College London Medical School and graduated in 2002. His specialist orthopaedic training was in Cambridge and London.

He has comprehensive specialist fellowship training in all aspects of knee surgery. Having trained under some of the leading knee surgeons in the world he has acquired considerable knowledge in treating high demand athletes. He applies these principles to all the patients he treats. His passion within knee surgery is in sports injuries, partial knee replacements, robotic knee replacements and patella instability. He is experienced in treating complex knee problems in situations where previous surgery has failed.

Mr Anand has completed four prestigious knee fellowships including one in Melbourne, Australia and one in Italy. In 2013 he was awarded the distinguished European Arthroscopy Travelling Fellowship. His research interests are focused around getting patients back to sport, robotic surgery and patella instability. He sits on numerous committees both nationally and Europe wide for knee surgery. He teaches knee surgery regularly around the world. He is involved in the design and testing of new techniques in sports medicine. He has also recently been appointed as the joint director of surgery for the South West London Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC).
