About the role
Reporting to the Bookings Manager, you will play an essential role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while supporting the overall effectiveness and performance of the Bookings Department.
As one of the first points of contact for Oryon Imaging, you will guide patients and referrers through their booking journey with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. You will ensure enquiries are handled accurately and promptly, appointments are scheduled appropriately, and patients feel informed and supported throughout their interaction with us.
Working within a structured and performance-focused team, you will contribute to departmental targets and service standards while maintaining a patient-first approach in every conversation.

Responsibilities
-> Patient Experience & Engagement
- Respond promptly and professionally to all enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Provide clear, accurate information about Oryon’s services across all brands.
- Guide patients through appropriate appointment options based on referral information and clinical pathways.
- Deliver a welcoming, empathetic and confident experience at every stage of the patient journey.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for patients, managing queries both before and after appointments.
- Escalate complex or sensitive matters to the Bookings Manager when required.
-> Bookings & Performance Contribution
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through clear communication and effective follow-up.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding leads and incomplete enquiries to ensure patients receive timely support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within internal systems.
- Contribute to individual and team KPIs, including response times, booking accuracy, and conversion standards.
- Develop and maintain strong product and service knowledge to support informed and confident conversations.
-> Operational & Team Support
- Adhere to departmental processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to maintain service quality and operational efficiency.
- Adapt positively to workflow improvements and service changes.
- Demonstrate accountability, initiative, and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
What We’re Looking For

Experience in a healthcare setting or target-driven environment is desirable but not essential.
