Dr Odetoyinbo will be exploring how nutrition has a significant role to play in the preparation for, participation in and recovery from training, competition and exercise. His wealth of expertise and experience in performance medicine will inform the talk invaluably, with advice on sporting requirements and nutrition for the individual’s lifestyle.

My 5 Favourite Ankle and Foot Clinical Signs: A masterclass to enhance your clinical examination - Mr Sam Singh, Consultant Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon

We will be delving into five conditions: ankle impingement, ankle instability, peroneal tendon pathologies, Morton’s neuroma, and big toe joint pathologies. Conservative and operative treatment routes will also be explored.

This talk will focus on the neurological aetiology and results of concussion and head injury in sport. Dr Ben Turner will be delving into the signs to spot, whether on or off the pitch, and how to diagnose concussion. This will include what clinicians can do for patients with persistent or worsened symptoms, also known as post-concussion syndrome. Exploring traumatic head injury, Dr Turner will be helping us to understand the consequences and impact on the brain. He will look at the long-term sequelae, and how you can help your patients manage the effects.

Adolescent Sports & Performance: An Endocrine Perspective - Dr Nicky Keay, Honorary Fellow & Sports And Dance Endocrinologist
