What are we, across all three Oryon brands, doing about our safety measures?

As a healthcare provider, we remained open throughout the pandemic, with robust safety measures in place and we continue to follow these to ensure we provide the best services for our patients and customers.

Our imaging centre on Wimpole Street is running as normal (with added safety measures), our healthcare courses are running online and face-to-face in a safe environment, and our practitioner introductions can be arranged either face-to-face or over the phone.

We are accessible by car and maintain very strict safety measures, so don’t let anything stop you from getting the diagnosis and treatment you need.

We advise all customers to be extra cautious and follow protective measures as advised by WHO and the UK Government.

Oryon Imaging

At Oryon Imaging the safety of our patients and team is our highest priority. We’re well placed to keep contact to a minimum, with our unique online community allowing patients and referrers to book appointments online, see their results online and even send reports and share referrals online.

In our centre, we have taken a number of steps to ensure the safety of patients and team:

  • All patients are required to wear masks at all times in the clinic. On arrival you will be asked to wash your hands and wear a mask.
  • We no longer accept cash payments.
  • Our scanning equipment is disinfected between every patient.
  • Check-in iPads are disinfected after every use.
  • All team members wear masks at all times.
  • Usage of hand sanitiser is strongly encouraged.
  • All common areas and surfaces are cleaned and disinfected regularly; these include but are not limited to working desks, door handles, switches, changing rooms, private areas i.e. kitchen.
  • Oryon team members working are all well and are not allowed to come to the centre location should they develop any type of flu-like symptoms.

Children Policy at our Centres

  • Unfortunately, we are not able to welcome children to our Dover Street centre. If you attend your appointment with a child, we will have to turn you away. Therefore, if you need to bring a child with you, please re-book your appointment at our Wimpole Street centre, 48 hours ahead of your planned appointment.
  • Please note, if you are bringing children with you on the day of your scan at our Wimpole Street centre, they must be accompanied by someone over 18 in our waiting area, whilst you are being scanned
